Il modello oggi maggiormente accreditato in ambito accademico \u00e8 quello di <em>Scheiman e Wick (2002)<\/em>, nel quale la funzione visiva viene suddivisa in <strong>tre aree che consentono di comprendere i meccanismi che ne regolano il funzionamento.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La<strong> prima area<\/strong> riguarda l&#8217;integrit\u00e0 della funzione visiva, <strong>la seconda<\/strong> prende in considerazione l&#8217;efficienza visiva, la <strong>terza area<\/strong> concerne l&#8217;elaborazione delle informazioni efficiente sistema visivo vi \u00e8 una condizione di salute oculare e di integrit\u00e0 della funzione visiva. Affinch\u00e9 il soggetto possa vedere correttamente, \u00e8 infatti necessario che sia nelle condizioni psicofisiche ottimali e che la luce possa attraversare i me<i>z<\/i>zi trasparenti dell&#8217;occhio e raggiungere la retina senza
